Call Center
Call center operations were part of the product core, not a separate supporting tool.
The system had to connect leads, routing rules, operator availability, telephony events and CRM updates in real time.
This created a workflow where engineering decisions had direct operational consequences: operator efficiency, call timing, queue behavior and customer response time.
Designing this area required reliable realtime synchronization and close coordination with telephony infrastructure.
The platform also had to remain understandable to business users, since operational teams depended on it throughout the day.
That made call center engineering a product, infrastructure and operations problem at the same time.
